• The mortgage process must be 100% complete and sent to your real estate lawyer no later then 10 business days (2 weeks) prior to your closing date
      • To be 100% complete all your documents and/or change requests must be not only be received but also reviewed and approved by the lender
      • To meet this deadline, ALL outstanding documents and any additional lender requests MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 3 WEEKS before your closing date
      • This also includes any request(s) to make changes to your mortgage or a change of lenders within this deadline
      • Past this date, closing on time CANNOT be guaranteed and an extension will be required to your closing date
      • You may be faced with extra costs or legal action against you by the seller as a result of not closing on time
      • These costs are your responsibility
      • A best practice is to provide all the required documents no later then one month before your closing date to allow two weeks to assure everything is completed by the deadline and to allow time in case challenges arise with the documents you provide
